Monsieur Bike: The Assault on the BikingMan Corsica

May 2025. For Simon (@monsieurbike), the BikingMan Corsica was the ultimate test of endurance. Setting off with 400 participants across the island’s rugged terrain, he secured a memorable third place after 52 hours of effort. A raw performance, completed in a single push without ever changing kit, proving that endurance is above all about complete trust between the cyclist and their equipment.

The previous year, during his victory at the Race Across 1000, Monsieur Bike chose to change his bib shorts along the way to preserve his comfort. In Corsica, the approach was different. After testing the Émile bib shorts on a single 300-kilometer ride, the decision was made: they would accompany him on the BikingMan. The goal was to complete the 1,000 kilometers in the same chamois, from the first pedal stroke to the finish line.

It is in this kind of epic journey that equipment moves beyond mere textile to become an invisible ally. Spending more than two days and two nights pedaling without feeling any pain is the highest compliment one can give to a piece of gear. For Simon, comfort was no longer a concern but a given, allowing him to stay focused on his line and his place on the podium.

We are proud to have supported this journey where endurance meets the elegance of movement. Many thanks to him for this demonstration of trust.
